Recorder

Hello everyone ! Finally I found a free day between my crazy schedule in a week. Do you like play a recorder ? Me too ! One of my hobbies is playing recorder. Because my sound isn't so good. I decide to play with it to sing my favorite song rather than I sing it with my sound. Hahaha =))

Recorder is a woodwind musical instrument of the family known as fipple flutes or internal duct flutes—whistle-like instruments which include the tin whistle. The recorder is end-blown and the mouth of the instrument is constricted by a wooden plug, known as a block or fipple.[1] It is distinguished from other members of the family by having holes for seven fingers (the lower one or two often doubled to facilitate the production of semitones) and one for the thumb of the uppermost hand. The bore of the recorder is tapered slightly, being widest at the mouthpiece end and narrowest towards the foot on Baroque recorders, or flared almost like a trumpet at the bottom on Renaissance instruments.

The recorder was popular in medieval times through the baroque era, but declined in the 18th century in favour of orchestral woodwind instruments, such as the fluteoboe, and clarinet. During its heyday, the recorder was traditionally associated with pastoral scenes, miraculous events, funerals, marriages and amorous scenes. Images of recorders can be found in literature and artwork associated with all of these. PurcellBachTelemann and Vivaldi used the recorder to suggest shepherds and imitate birds in their music, a theme that continued in 20th century music.[2]
The recorder was revived in the 20th century, partly in the pursuit of historically informed performance of early music, but also because of its suitability as a simple instrument for teaching music and its appeal to amateur players. Today, it is often thought of as a child's instrument, but there are many professional players who demonstrate the instrument's full solo range.[3] The sound of the recorder is remarkably clear and sweet, partly because of the lack of upper harmonics and predominance of odd harmonics in the sound. (wikipedia.org)

So, this is the short explanation from wikipedia (because I'm lazy to write them with my own words. With that explanation, It seems I'm the master of music. hahaha). Play your recorder every you want to play it (of course.. =.=)

Every Sweet Day - IU

Hey boy, what you gonna do for me, honey?
Everyday like a sweet day find the day Oh the fine day
Love you forever
Everyday like a sweet day find the day Oh the fine day
Love you forever
Everyday like a sweet day find the day Oh the fine day
Love you forever

Journal of My Life : 3집 이야기 (3rd Vol. Story)

Hello again everyone ! Woow.. Today is very hot and also very tiring. I have a little time between my busy schedule to tell a story to all of you.

Now, I will tell you a story about Reliability. Today, I have a lecture about statistic engineering and reliability. My lecturer said that if we talk about reliability, we can't separate it with a system. Why ? Because system's reliability is what we talk about. But, maybe some of us don't know what system is. System is a set of component / attribute which is ordered to do specific function.

We also talk about success. There are two kinds of success. Success in technical and success in business. Chance of technical success is reliability.

Reliability of the system (like a structure, car, bike, etc.) will be weaken as time goes. But, with Repair and Maintenance, reliability can be maintained even not 100% as the new one. And the system must have maintainability character which means the system has a maintenance period and repairing period as short as possible. So the availability of the system can be guaranteed.

Okay, this is my story about reliability. Do you confuse with the story ? Me too, you are not alone. Hahahaa =)) But don't worry ! If I have an easy story to tell, I will tell it to you. It's time to back to my busy schedule. See you everyone ! =)

Journal of My Life : 2집 이야기 (2nd Vol. Story)

Hello everyone !

Today is a busy day. Even busier than yesterday. But alhamdulillah everything is okay. Now, I will tell you a story about FEM (Finite Element Method) and the softwares.

Finite Element Method is one of numerical technique to solve an complex equation which (almost) impossible to solve it with analytical technique. It can used to solve structural analysis, Dynamic or Motion analysis, fluid flow, fluid-structure interaction, etc. There are many softwares which use FEM as their processes. But, the core is only 2. They are general purpose and specific purpose softwares.

General purpose softwares are softwares which can solve any application of FEM like structure stresses, car deforms, etc. Of course general purpose softwares are more expensive than specific purpose softwares because of their versatility. The examples of these softwares is ANSYS, NASTRAN, SAP, etc.

Specific purpose softwares are softwares which can solve only specific application or problem of FEM. Generally, we can build our own program with FORTRAN, Turbo Pascal, or Visual Basic to solve FEM problem. Because of their simple process, this softwares is cheaper than general purpose softwares.

Okay, this is my story about FEM and its softwares. Because tomorrow will be a busy day too. I must take a rest soon and prepare for tomorrow. See you everyone !

Journal of My Life : 1집 이야기 (1st Vol. Story)

Hello Hello Hello !

In this first day of lecture, Suddenly, I got a task from my lecturer to find a journal and I have to analyze it and give both comments and summary. But, How to analyze it ? Okay, I will tell you. Please be patient.

Okay, the task is about "Using Descriptive Statistic". So, what's descriptive statistic ? Referring to all source which I read before, descriptive statistic is methods which related to collecting and presenting some data so that data can give important informations to readers. Descriptive statistic only give data's informations without giving any conclusions about the data's parent. With descriptive statistic, we can get informations such as mean, median, modus, deviation, etc.

Now, we know what's the meaning of "Descriptive Statistic". So, let me do the task now and I will tell you other things about what I'm studying.

See You !

Helmet

Helmet is one of the important parts for safety riding. There are several types of helmet :

a. Open face helmet
b. Full face helmet
c. Modular helmet (combination of open-face and full-face)
d. Motocross helmet

Open Face Helmet

Open face helmet is one of several types of helmet. The shape of the helmet is simple and the face part is full open.

This type is very suitable for short distance and suitable for scooter riders. Because of the design is simple and light. Several open-face helmets have very cute design, like "Hello Kitty" decals and "Doraemon" decals.

Full Face Helmet

The shape of full face helmets is closed-face and very suitable for racing and touring. Because the shape of the helmet is aerodynamic. This type is very famous among young riders. It gives you protection twice better than open-face helmets.

Modular Helmet

The shape of modular helmets is like full-face helmet. But, you can also open the face part of the helmet to be open-face helmet. This type is very famous among the riders which have touring hobbies.

Motocross Helmet

The shape of the helmet is small, full-face type. It only used in motocross racing. because the design is not for road. And this helmet is not as comfortable as the other types.

Turning In The Corner

Turning your bike in the corner is a crucial thing that we must take care about. There are several techniques to turning in the corner. But, the basics are so simple : enter - apex - exit.

Entering The Corner

When you are going to enter the corner, there are several techniques you must do. They are :

a. Reducing your speed. This is the most essential aspect you must take care. Use your front brake 70% and rear brake 30% when you enter the corner. Brake plays significant role in entering the corner. So, check your brake fluid, brake pad, and other brake parts regularly !

b. Relaxing your hand and your bike's throttle till you feel comfortable with your bike. Don't be too tense which makes your stamina drops and your bike get more pressure. It will makes your bike does not get the line.

c. Open your knee little when you will enter the corner. It helps you to reduce your bike speed.

d. Prepare your line and take the widest line to get the most visibility when you enter the corner

Apex

When you turning your bike, there are several techniques too. They are :

a. Release your brake smoothly. It helps you to maintain your momentum to turn.

b. Keep your bike on a proper angle. It approximately 45 to 60 degree, depends on the corners. If the corner is sharp, you have to turn till 40 degree. If the corner is not too sharp, you can turn up to 60 degree.

c. Your body must follow the bike to ease your bike to turn and maintain the stability of your bike.

Exiting The Corner

The corner is not finished yet. So, pay attention to exit the corner. Here are several techniques :

a. Reduce your brake till 5% and pull your throttle smoothly. Don't pull your throttle suddenly or you will lose your stability even lose your soul too.

b. Feel your tyre grip balance with your throttle. Tyre grip plays important role for maintain your balance.

c. Concentrate when you exiting the corner. Get a proper pace as fast as possible without losing your stability. Remember the key point : Stability !

So, these are the techniques when you turning in the corner. Now, let's go out there and practice it till you get the feeling when you turning in the corner. Keep up the practice and RIDE SAFELY !

Car Lubricants Review 1

Hello everyone !

Now, I will review about some car lubricants tested on my car, Suzuki Aerio 2003.
Here is the specification :

Engine Volume Displacement : 1,499 cc
Compression Ratio : 9.7 : 1
Cylinder : 4
Fuel capacity : 50 Litres

I compare Shell Helix HX 7 with Pertamina Fastron with oil viscosity SAE 10W-40

Shell Helix HX 7

When I use Shell Helix 10W-40, I feel my car is very responsive and very smooth. It's very suitable for a car which its average speed is 50-70 km/h in medium distance. And when you shift the gear at 3,000-3,500 rpm. The car still walk very smooth. For a car with medium to short compression. This lubricants gives your car smooth acceleration and reduced the noise of the engine. Even when your engine use timing chain. Several car (Like my car) use timing chain which the noise is more than the cars which use timing belt. But, with Shell Helix HX 7, you will get the smooth timing belts noise on your car. And also the fuel consumption of my car is fewer than normal condition, between 1 l : 13 to 15 km in short to medium distance. And 1 l : 20-22 km in long distance.

Pertamina Fastron Syn

When I use Pertamina Fastron Synthetic 10W-40, I feel my car get more acceleration and I can push my car until 3,500 rpm without any problem. Because it made in Indonesia, it meets any conditions in Indonesia like the weathers, temperatures, "stop & go" and the road habits. The fuel consumption of my car when I use this lubricant is 1 l : 13-14 km in short to medium distance. And 1 l : 19-21 km in long distance. This lubricant also gives responsiveness as good as Shell Helix HX 7. But, I feel the noises of my car almost did not change. Except the noises, every point of the lubricant are very good.

So, The conclusions are :
